A report released by Noosa Council showed another year of strong performance by Escape Parks and Noosa Holiday Parks in the financial year 2023/24.
Escape Parks manages Noosa Holiday Parks which comprises Boreen Point Campground, Noosa North Shore Beach Campground and Noosa River Holiday Park.
Combined, occupancy numbers at the parks increased by 3,420 people during the 12-month period, resulting in a record 64,631 visitors. This is the highest recorded visitation level at Noosa Holiday Parks and is 5.6% higher than the previous year.
Bookings were also up. 84,307 nights were recorded across the three holiday parks over the 12-month period.
Financial surplus from Noosa Holiday Parks is used to offset general rate increases otherwise required to fund non-revenue-generating council activities and programs.
